Environmental Certifications

EMAS ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT

The EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) is a management tool for companies to evaluate, report and improve their environmental performance. It is a voluntary framework based on legal limitations but also on the continuous improvement of environmental performance, the creation of new, dedicated relations with institutions and the public, in addition to encouraging active participation among employees.

Certifications

ISO 9001:2000 CERTIFICATE.

The new ISO 9001:2000 standard replaces the earlier ISO 9001, 9002 and 9003:1994. The standard identifies the requirements to be met by a quality management system in order to demonstrate a company's ability to supply products in keeping with customer requirements and the relevant regulations. Its aim is to boost customer satisfaction and it provides a reference for the assessment and certification of conformity of company quality management systems.

IFS CERTIFICATE.
Required for exports to Germany and awarded for the raw ham and San Daniele ham produced and sliced at the Principe di San Daniele factory, and the cooked ham and vienna sausages produced at the San Dorligo della Valle (TS) factory.

BRC CERTIFICATE.
Required for exports to Great Britain and awarded for the raw ham and San Daniele ham produced and sliced at the Principe di San Daniele factory, and the cooked ham and vienna sausages produced at the San Dorligo della Valle (TS) factory.

ISO 14001 CERTIFICATE.
Environmental certification for the San Daniele factory.  

EXPORT CERTIFICATE
Authorization to export in: Japan, USA, Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, Brasil, Canada, South Africa and European Community.

Product Certificates

SGS PRODUCT CERTIFICATE FOR GLUTEN FREE PRODUCTS.

• For Praga Vecchia Trieste on the bone and boned, Visavì, Fresco Principe Cotto and Praga, certifying that said products are gluten-free.
• For pork Wulevù, Vienna and Gran Vienna sausages, certifying that said products are gluten-free.
• For chicken "Wulevù Buona Natura" vienna sausages, guaranteeing:
  • the use of barn hens, fed solely on non-GM vegetable feeds;
  • exclusively non-GM ingredients;
  • no added polyphosphates;
  • luten-free products

ORGANIC PRODUCT CERTIFICATE for chicken vienna sausages.
